The Inman Aligner™ can address many orthodontic issues, including:
• Misalignment
• Rotation
• Overcrowding
• Gaps between teeth
It is also an excellent option for people who previously had orthodontic treatment and have noticed their front teeth have shifted.
The Inman Aligner™ fits onto your front teeth and straightens them by applying gentle pressure. Two nickel-titanium springs connect to “bows” that sit behind your teeth. The springs exert pressure on the bows, which gradually move your teeth into position.
Your dentist will calibrate the aligner so that it moves any crooked or misaligned teeth into a more aesthetically pleasing position.
Your dentist will take an impression of your teeth and gums so your custom-made aligner can be created.
Once the aligner is ready, your dentist will check it for a proper fit. You will attend regular progress checks — typically every 3-4 weeks — to make sure your teeth are moving as expected and there are no issues with the aligner.
Once you finish your treatment you must wear a retainer to ensure your teeth don’t move back to their former position.
You should wear your Inman Aligner™ for at least 20 hours each day, removing it only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
Compared with traditional orthodontic treatments, the aligner offers several benefits:
• Shorter treatment time
• Directly addresses orthodontic issues with the front teeth
• One adjustable aligner as opposed to a set
• No brackets or wires
• Doesn’t irritate the gums or lips
