Our principal dentist, Dr. N. S. Sehra, graduated from Charles Clifford Dental School, University of Sheffield, in 1987. He established Acorn Dental Care in 1990 and has since been transforming smiles. He has devoted himself to maintaining the high standard of clinical excellence that he has carried with him through every phase of his career. Dr. Sehra’s commitment to quality has made him a highly regarded cosmetic and implant dentist within the profession.
As a part of his devotion to continuing education, Dr. Sehra regularly attends training seminars worldwide. He is also a Member of both the British and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. Dr Sehra has attended numerous worldwide training courses in cosmetic dentistry and dental Implantology. In 2007 he completed a one year Dental Implantology certification course at the Eastman Dental Institute in London and in 2014 he completed the one year ‘Master Clinicians Programme in Implant Dentistry’ from the Loma Linda University, Los Angeles. Dr Sehra is a certified provider of both Invisalign and six month smiles. He has also trained to provide non surgical facial aesthetics such as wrinkle reduction and dermal fillers.
Dr Sehra has a special interest in dental Implantology and is able to replace missing teeth permanently using the world renowned Nobel Biocare implant system. For more advanced techniques, Dr Sehra works in conjunction with Dr Riz Syed and Dr Guy McLellan where they are able to do same day smiles and full mouth reconstructions using the ‘All on 4’ technique.
For our patients with a nervous disposition Dr Sehra is able to offer intravenous sedation. He is fully qualified to administer sedation and regularly attends postgraduate courses to stay up to date with the latest developments in patient care. The practice is fully equipped to provide sedation and the staff are fully trained to assist Dr Sehra.
Dr Sehra is one of the few dental surgeons who is trained to provide same day restorations using the CEREC Bluecam. Using this system Dr Sehra is able to do same day smile makeovers using Empress & Emax Porcelain to make high quality crowns or veneers in a single appointment.
